Free movies starting this weekend! The famous film Arráncame la vida returns to the big screen for a short season at the Cineteca de las Artes.
Get your popcorn ready because you will reconnect with this story based on the novel by Ángeles Mastretta; actress Ana Claudia Talancón gives life to the character of Catalina, a young woman who gets involved in a stormy marriage.
From November 28 to December 4 you will meet again with General Andrés Ascencio and Carlos Vives. We recommend you arrive early, as seating is limited; performances are at 7:00 pm.
Filmmaker Roberto Fiesco will visit the Cineteca to present the return of Arráncame la vida.
These presentations commemorate the 80th anniversary of Estudios Churubusco Azteca. Arráncame la Vida was produced in this space, becoming a milestone in the history of Mexican cinema, as it was the most expensive film in history.
As part of the commemorative activities, filmmaker Roberto Fiesco will comment on the first screening. The date is this Friday, November 28, at 7:00 pm.
If you also want someone to give you the gift of Sanborns de los Azulejos and you love vanilla ice cream, you are sure to attend at least one of the screenings.
At the moment, the Cineteca de las Artes has not disclosed how the admission will be done. In previous editions it is necessary to ask for your complimentary ticket at the box office.
