Traditional clothing, accessories and much more. On August 21, the exhibition The Charm of Seoul opened its doors at the National Museum of World Cultures. Get to know more about the culture and history of South Korea without leaving Mexico City.
This exhibition is composed of more than 200 objects including decorative elements, accessories, tools and even traditional clothing; this was informed by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) through a press release.
While the exhibition focuses on what life was like in the Joseon period (1392-1910), it also explores its influence on Seoul today.

This exhibition is divided into three parts. In the first one you will see traditional clothing of the elites, as well as aspects of what life was like in this capital city during the 19th century. In the next part you will discover the characteristics of a traditional South Korean house.
Finally, the third part will explore the relationship between Seoul’s past and present. The best part is that you will find some activities that you will love.
We recommend you not to delay your visit, as it will only be there for two months. It will end on October 19. Visit it at the International Hall of the National Museum of World Cultures, located at Moneda #13, Centro Histórico.
You can visit it from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. It is worth mentioning that this museum in the Historic Center has free admission, as well as a permanent hall dedicated to the history of South Korea. Do not hesitate to visit the entire museum during your visit.
