It’s a done deal! We will have a free Shakira concert in the Zócalo in 2026. Write down all the details so you don’t miss it.
Through her official accounts, Shakira confirmed that she will perform at the Zócalo in Mexico City on Sunday, March 1, 2026. It is important to mention that this is not the first time we will see the singer at the Plaza de la Constitución, as she performed there in 2007 as part of her Fijación Oral tour.
On that occasion, she drew a crowd of more than 200,000 people to the Zócalo, according to official figures.
What time is Shakira’s concert in the Zócalo?
The event will begin at 8:00 p.m. on March 1, 2026, but we recommend arriving early, as access usually opens several hours in advance.
This concert is part of her current tour called Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran(Women Don’t Cry Anymore), so we will hear both new songs and great classics from the Colombian singer.
In addition, Mexico City government authorities reported that giant screens will be installed at other locations in Mexico City, such as the Alameda Central and the Monument to the Revolution. Admission is free.
“Beautiful Mexico, do you remember 2007 when I sang for you in the Zócalo? I want to tell you that this experience will be repeated this Sunday, March 1, at 8 p.m.,” the singer said on her social media accounts. So now you know, the event is more than confirmed.
