Get on the board because this 📆 June 21 there will be a lot of activities by the Go Skate Day. Skateboarding will take place in the Alameda, Plaza de la Solidaridad and the Zocalo, and there will be activations, ramps and even special guests. Everything is free! We’ll tell you the details.
The event will start at 🕛10:00 at 📍 Plaza de la Solidaridad. In this first point there will be a skateboard contest where you will have to demonstrate your best trick. There will also be an exhibition of skateboarding and there will be information modules where they will answer your questions.
Later, attendees will gather at the 📍 kiosk in Alameda Central. Here, urban artists will present a mural about the sport. Additionally, there will be a basic trick contest where people of different ages can participate. It should be noted that the competitions will have prizes and awards for the winners.
The skate tour will culminate in the 📍 Zócalo of CDMX. This last location will have classes taught by experts, workshops and very special guests such as Rosalba “Fantasmita” Reveles, an athlete who qualified for the 2020 Olympics. Gabriel Acosta, a professional who competed in the Nixon Vertical Tour Challenge, will also be there.
The atmosphere will be set by live music. Because yes, there is a musical Program with artists that will give a touch to this event. Here is the list of guests:
