Carlos Colorado’s La Sonora Santanera will offer a musical performance to honor Sonia López this Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. The show will take place at the Kiosco León de los Aldama, located in the San Felipe de Jesús neighborhood of the Gustavo A. Madero municipality.
The event will serve as a grand finale to the first phase of “Tiempo de Mujeres. Festival for Equality 2026,” and is also part of the activities of “Territories of Peace and Equality.”
Lots of rhythm and pure female power
The tropical vibe won’t come alone. Alongside the legendary group, the afternoon is going to heat up with the presence and talent of several female sound system artists, who will be in charge of setting the mood in northern Mexico City. The lineup features Sonido Radio Voz de Lupita, La Cigarrita, Alis Pedraza, Sonido Bety Universo, and Sonido Antillanos.
Admission is free, so just show up at the kiosk ready to have a great time.
