The season has arrived when Mexico City is not only blanketed in jacaranda blossoms but also adorned with other wonderful and vibrant flowers. To welcome the spring of 2026, the Art and Flower Festival will take place this weekend on the main streets of the Historic Center.
Various cultural groups will participate in this event, as well as the civil association Xochimeh: Art and Flower Festival. Along the route, you can enjoy traditional and contemporary dances, as well as performances celebrating the beauty of the season.
The tour will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 22; the starting point is the intersection of Eje Central and Francisco I. Madero, heading toward Plaza de la Santísima, located on República de Guatemala.
Don’t leave right away when it’s over—stay to participate in cultural workshops.
In addition to the spring parade, there will be an immersive yoga class in Tlaxcoaque Square in the Historic Center. This will take place on March 29 at 9:00 a.m. It will be a guided Toltec meditation with wireless headphones that will help you have a unique sound experience.
If spring is your favorite season of the year, experiencing this parade is sure to be a unique and colorful way to welcome it. See you this Sunday!
