The beginning of spring is just days away, and it officially begins with the spring equinox, which occurs between March 20 and 21. This season of the year is characterized for being one of the favorites for outdoor activities.
What will there be on Spring Weekends? Activities for the whole family to celebrate the arrival of spring in the city. Everything will take place at 
Parque Ecológico Xochimilco and at Museo Chinampaxóchitl.
Spring Weekend Activities in Xochimilco
Save the dates and get ready to enjoy a moment in nature! We begin with guided bike tours, which will take place on March 2 and 23, starting on March 2 and 23.

at 10:30 am at Museo Chinampaxóchitl.
On this tour you will get to know the most emblematic areas of the Xochimilco Ecological Park and admire the characteristic lake landscapes of the area.
And if you join the tour on Sunday, March 23, you can decorate your bike with spring motifs to celebrate. Just avoid using balloons, as they are not allowed in the park.
On Sunday March 16 at 13:00 you can take a talk about plastic waste in the water. On Sunday March 23 there will be a wonderful piano and saxophone recital with the duet Acoustic Joy.
And every other weekend you can enjoy the exhibitions at Museo Chinampaxóchitl, where the lake and chinampera culture is spread.
In addition, on Saturdays and Sundays there will be workshops with different themes such as “Build a Chinampa”, “Women in the chinampa”, “Design a trajinera” and “Pre-Hispanic fertility goddesses”.
