From a galaxy far, far away, a Star Wars-inspired festival is coming to Mexico City. It’s the “Yo Soy Tu Padre” Galactic Festival, which will pay tribute to this film saga. Admission is free, and the event will last only one day.
This festival will feature various activities for Star Wars fans, such as lightsaber battles, movie screenings, music, and even themed food.
Of course, you’ll run into cosplayers and even attend various talks. The event’s special guest will be voice actor Sebastián Llapur. As you can see, there will be several surprises.
When will the Star Wars-inspired festival take place in Mexico City?
The “I Am Your Father” Galactic Festival will take place on Sunday, July 19. That’s right: it will last just one day. Activities will kick off at 12:00 p.m. sharp, according to information shared on the official social media accounts of the Venustiano Carranza City Hall.
The venue is the Carranza Cultural Center, located at Lázaro Pavia S/N, in the Jardín Balbuena neighborhood. Admission is free, but we recommend arriving early so you can enjoy all the activities at this galactic event. The best part is that you won’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away.
