Art Week 2026 is about to begin with trends, exhibitions, and designs that will leave us speechless. Adding to the program is TEXTIL x Teresa Olmedo, a textile art exhibition that will take place in a former yarn and fabric factory in the south of Mexico City.
This exhibition is part of Top10artistas, a contemporary art project that organizes group exhibitions; the participating artists present a meticulous and splendid curation. On this occasion, the curator is textile artist Teresa Olmedo.
At the moment, the names of the participating artists have not been announced; what we do know is that the pieces will give rise to reflection on bodily memory, healing, and awareness of the body-territory.
Textil x Teresa Olmedo will open on Sunday, February 1, and remain open until February 8. Visiting hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Monday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
As we mentioned, this exhibition will be held in a former yarn factory, better known as La Textilera. In 2024, this 1940s space was converted into an event hall, although it retains part of its architecture and essence. Of course, there could be no better setting for a textile art exhibition.
A wine experience will guide your tour

The evening when the guest artists will be announced will be the opening night, which will take place on Saturday, January 31, at 6:00 p.m.
This is a very special moment, as sommelier Jocsan Lomelí has curated ten wines that are perfect to enjoy alongside the exhibition. The notes and profiles you will find for each wine are related to each work.
As if that weren’t enough, a souvenir shop will be set up in the Tejedora area, where you will find collaborations between brands, fanzines, design pieces, fashion, and much more.
Keep an eye on everything that will be happening during Art Week and hurry to Flor De María 20-B, Atlamaya, San Ángel.
