The Liverpool quartet continues to touch the hearts of new generations and, of course, fill music lovers of the “Beatle era” with nostalgia. The musical history behind The Beatles is much more fascinating than you think, and you can discover it at the presentation at Los Pinos.
“From Dowland to The Beatles” is a show by the Vocal Stage Ensemble in which pieces by classical composers will be performed, but also some modern works such as Love Of My Life by Freddie Mercury andEleanor Rigby by Paul McCartney.
The idea is for you to learn about the influence that artists such as John Dowland and Gustav Holst had on legendary songs in music history: Yesterday and Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton.

The presentation “From Dowland to The Beatles” will not only take place at Los Pinos, but will also come to other venues such as the Church of Cristo Rey in Tlalpan and the Library of Mexico. Here are the dates:
- March 13, 5:00 p.m.: Iglesia de Cristo Rey (Christ the King Church) at Calzada de Tlalpan 1419, Portales Norte
- March 14, 3:00 p.m.: Los Pinos Cultural Complex
- March 15, 1:00 p.m.: Biblioteca de México in Plaza de la Ciudadela 4, Downtown
