1. Museum Night
This Wednesday, September 25 will be the Night of Museums. A lot of museums will come together for one night with a special program. You can check the list of the best activities of this edition here. 🖼️
2. Utopia Cihuacóatl
The Iztapalapa Mayor’s Office has a new Utopia: Cihuacóatl. It is a space dedicated to the development of women and girls. Among the facilities there is a pool, spa, temazcal, as well as workshops and sports. Come and visit it! 👩🏽🦰

3. Against Silence All Voices
This is a documentary film festival that will be presented in different states of Mexico and, of course, in the CDMX. There are 162 materials that will be screened in different venues, as well as the streaming platform MXPLUS and several TV channels. 📽️ Check the lineup here.

4. Chapultepec Workshops
Among the things you can do in CDMX during September are the workshops in the Chapultepec Forest. For free you can join the Mexican sauces, clay painting and even a children’s workshop called “a monster with thorns”. 🖌️

5. Mexicraneos 2024
Looking ahead to Day of the Dead 2024, CDMX has a lot to do and some of the activities begin during September. One of them is the exhibition of giant skulls. On this occasion, 12 new pieces will be unveiled; they will be unveiled three by three on weekends until October 12. But, skulls from previous years are already available. 💀

6. Expo “Rituales”.
In Lago Algo del Bosque de Chapultepec, the exhibition “Rituales” (Rituals) premieres with a collection of more than 250 traditional masks. In addition, contemporary art pieces accompany them generating a memorable experience.Are you missing it?

7. Free cinema at the IPN

8. Orchestra concert
The Palace of Fine Arts is celebrating its 90th anniversary. To celebrate, the National Symphony Orchestra will give a couple of concerts where pieces by Vidaurri, Bacarisse and Strauss will be played.Are you missing it 🎼

9. Magic at Play

10. The Empire Strips Back
If you are a Star Wars fan, you will surely want to get to know the dark side of this legendary saga. The Empire Strips Back is a burlesque and sensual comedy where, with a little bit of humor, you’ll be able to see a representation of the characters. You won’t stop laughing!

11. Dining in the Dark
Dining in the dark returns to CDMX during September. Dining in the Dark is a mysterious (but delicious) dinner where you will be blindfolded. You won’t know what dishes are coming to the table, so your taste buds will be the only ones to enjoy the delicacies of La Imperial’s chef. Of course, there will be plenty of laughter. 🍽️

12. Mystika
If you didn’t have a chance to visit this experience during August, September is the best time to do it. Mystika is an immersive space composed of art installations by Pepe Soho. The tour consists of seven rooms where you will see monarch butterflies or horses up close, among other natural sanctuaries. 🐎

13. Horror Festival
If you love scary experiences, you surely won’t miss Six Flags’ Festival of Terror. This 2024 it returns with its houses full of panic, hallucinating creatures and even the Kids Boo Fest for the little ones. Best of all, you’ll be able to attend starting in September. 🎃
It’s worth noting that this edition will feature the Nightmare Museum, a space where possessed and tenebrous objects that were collected by the Nightmare Society will be on display.

14. French Film Tour
The Tour de Cine Francés will celebrate its 28th edition with a lot of contemporary French films. Screenings will be at the Cineteca Nacional and at some Cinépolis theaters. 🍿

15. Renoir at MUNAL
It’s a fact! It was confirmed that MUNAL will present an impressionist exhibition called “Diálogos de Vanguardia” (Avant-Garde Dialogues). Get ready to see original works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro and Édouard Manet. Also, you will be able to see Van Gogh’s Tarascon Stagecoach – don’t miss it! 🖼️

17 In Black and White
Cenart’s piano festival returns in September 2024. During the weekends you will enjoy concerts by artists from Mexico, the United States, Italy and other countries. Also, if you are a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Piano, you could join the classes taught by the participating musicians. 🎹
