If you know the dialogue between Jack and Rose better than the names of the streets surrounding the Zócalo, Mexico City already has the perfect plan for you. Titanic: An Immersive Voyage is the immersive experience opening its doors this month, where you’ll discover the secrets of one of the world’s most famous ocean liners through various galleries.
Authentic artifacts, large-scale projections, a virtual reality segment… history and technology come together seamlessly in this journey through the RMS Titanic, from its construction to its sinking and subsequent legacy. An immersive journey through history that goes beyond typical museum visits with audio guides.

What is Titanic: An Immersive Voyage?
An expedition into every detail of one of history’s most famous shipwrecks. “Titanic: An Immersive Voyage” is an immersive historical exhibition presented in chronological order across more than ten galleries. Along the way, visitors will encounter historical artifacts, photographs, testimonies, and other archival materials, alongside life-size recreations of spaces on the ship, animations, and projections.
At all times, you’ll be able to tell what’s authentic and what’s a recreation: the real objects are presented as tangible evidence, while the recreated rooms, projected images, and virtual content serve as guides to understanding the ship’s engineering and historical context.
Everything you need to know about this Titanic experience in Mexico City
The tour usually takes between 60 and 90 minutes, especially if you’re the type who stops in front of every photograph and wants to take your time enjoying everything. Although it’s the kind of experience that everyone can enjoy, it tends to work very well as a family outing. It’s also perfect for those interested in history, naval design, or learning those fascinating facts that keep such a well-known event so captivating.
In addition to the impressive combination of historical artifacts and immersive elements, this experience also features a virtual exploration of the shipwreck as a site of research and remembrance.
And it will take place at Mexico City’s most versatile venue: Expo Reforma. It was built in 1990 by the National Chamber of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (CANACO) with the aim of hosting business events. But over time, this center has come to serve as a home for exhibitions of all kinds: card tournaments, Asian cultural exhibitions, or—as we’ll now be able to experience—a tour of the Titanic.
