Let’s give a round of applause for… whoever organized this amazing event in Mexico City! The songs of these idols are always on our minds, and this time, it won’t matter if you don’t have money or anything to give, because the tribute concert to Juan Gabriel and José José at the Gustavo A. Madero City Hall will be free admission.
If your go-to karaoke song is “El Triste, ” you’re surely already making plans to celebrate the musical legacy of these artists. This tribute will be led by the band Morfeo, a group that presents a rock-style reinterpretation of these legendary songs.
Note: There is only one performance scheduled for this Saturday, April 11, at 5:30 p.m. The tribute will take place at the Tepecuícatl Concert Hall (Cantera 12, Rosas de Tepeyac); remember that seating is limited, so we recommend arriving early.
Stop being a dormant volcano and don’t miss the tribute to José José and Juan Gabriel at the Gustavo A. Madero City Hall! It’s worth noting that Morfeo has performed at other museums and venues in Mexico City; their shows will remind you that what’s past is past, and might even make you ask your companions to give you a big hug.
Don’t be a killjoy—go ahead and belt out “El Noa Noa” at the top of your lungs!
