It’s almost here! The UNAM 2026 Book Sale will take place September 21–25. You’ll find all kinds of discounts. In fact, book prices will start at $1 and $5. Be sure to check out the details.
The school year has just begun, and of course, many people will be looking for books. This September, you’ll find all kinds of books at the UNAM auction.
According to Gaceta UNAM, this year’s sale will feature more than 45,000 copies of 4,500 different titles. There will be books on philosophy, literature, history, law, Latin American studies, economics, film, and much more. You’ll even find copies of the magazine “¿Cómo ves?”
Where will the UNAM Book Auction take place in September 2026?
This year’s event will take place at the Paseo de las Humanidades, next to the Islas de Ciudad Universitaria. More than 40 university departments will participate. You can visit the event at different times. From Monday through Wednesday, activities will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In addition to the book sale, there will be activities such as workshops, dance performances, and even chess. Admission is free. Book prices will range from $1 to $5. In fact, you’ll find discounts ranging from 50% to 80%, according to Gaceta UNAM.
