Have you visited it yet? Last Sunday, June 28, Utopía Cen Tlalli Ocotepec was officially inaugurated—a new venue in Mexico City featuring sports and cultural areas as well as health services. We’ll tell you all about what the place has to offer.
The first thing you need to know is that the site covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters and consists of 11 buildings. One of its main features is a recreational airplane equipped with a flight simulator and learning spaces. You’ll also find sports facilities such as zip lines, climbing walls, aero bungee, batting cages, and a beach volleyball court.
What else is there at Utopía Cen Tlalli Ocotepec, and where is it located?
You’ll also find healthcare services at this facility. According to a press release, services will range from general medical consultations to dental care and mammograms. It was even noted that a clinical laboratory will be available at no cost.
There’s also a free semi-Olympic-sized pool and a temazcal, as well as a child development center and a day center for seniors. This new utopia is located in Ampliación Lomas de San Bernabé, in the Magdalena Contreras borough.
Although the operating hours have not been confirmed, it was reported that the facility will aim to close after 10:00 p.m.
