Good news! The 2026 call for free swimming lessons in the UTOPIAS of the CDMX is now open, and it is a unique opportunity for girls, boys, young people and adults to learn to swim 100% free, safe and with certified instructors.
This community program has once again positioned itself as one of the most awaited by families in the capital, thanks to its inclusive approach and the quality of its aquatic facilities.
Those interested should consult the specific dates and times on the social networks of each UTOPIA, as the availability of places is subject to capacity.
Who can attend swimming lessons? Girls and boys from 6 years of age, as well as youth and adults. In addition, classes are open to people over 40 years old and people with disabilities, who must submit additional requirements to ensure their safety.
Mandatory requirements for free swimming lessons at UTOPIAS
In order to complete the pre-registration, it is essential to submit the mandatory documentation:
- Copy of proof of address in the CDMX (not older than two months).
- CURP updated to 2025
- Official identification; in the case of minors, that of the father, mother or guardian.
- Medical exam issued by a public institution (DIF, Health Center, Red Cross, IMSS or ISSSTE), valid for no more than three months and proof of aptitude for swimming.
- Copy of updated birth certificate
- Two recent child-size photographs
- One photograph of each person authorized to pick up the child, with a maximum of three.
