Are you going out this weekend? Keep an eye on the weather forecast for Mexico City. Between January 23 and 25, low temperatures will continue, especially at night and in the early morning.
For example, the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection has activated an orange alert in the Tlalpan borough, as temperatures between 1 and 3 degrees are expected, as well as frost between 1:00 and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24.
In addition, a yellow alert has been issued for the boroughs of Álvaro Obregón, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta, and Xochimilco, as temperatures are expected to range from 4 to 6 degrees during the early hours of Saturday.
This is what the weather will be like in Mexico City over the weekend
The good news is that temperatures will rise gradually over the next few days. According to the National Meteorological Service, no rain is expected in Mexico City or the State of Mexico on Saturday. The maximum temperature will be between 22 and 24 degrees.
On Sunday, January 25, a maximum temperature of 23 to 25 degrees is expected in Mexico City. But beware: this does not mean that it will no longer be cold. Temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees are expected in mountainous areas of Mexico City in the early hours of January 24, 25, 26, and 27. So don’t forget to wrap up warm before going to bed.
Remember that the cold front season is not over yet; in fact, January is the month when these systems tend to occur most frequently.
