Everything is more than ready for the September 16 parade in CDMX, check the time, route and road alternatives.
As is tradition, this Tuesday, September 16, there will be a military civic parade in CDMX, which is in commemoration of the anniversary of the beginning of Mexico’s Independence.
What time is the September 16 parade in CDMX?

The parade will start at 10:00 am. It will start at Mexico City’s Zócalo and will end at Campo Marte. During the parade it will pass through streets such as Paseo de la Reforma.
During the event there will be several road closures; for this reason, the Mexico City Traffic Guidance Center of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City (OVIAL) recommends taking the following as alternatives:
- Eje 1 Norte
- Eje 1 Oriente
- José María Izazaga
- Fray Servando Teresa de Mier
- Chapultepec Avenue
- Constituyentes Avenue
- Presidente Masaryk Avenue
- Circuito Interior
In the case of Metrobus, there will be some service modifications:
- Line 1: there will only be service from Indios Verdes to Plaza de la República and from El Caminero to Insurgentes. There will be no service on Hamburgo, Reforma and Buenavista II between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm. Additionally, the Indios Verdes-Pueblo Sta. Cruz Atoyac route will not provide service from 5:00 to 14:30 hours.
- Line 3: there will be no service from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Mina to Balderas and at Buenavista II. The sections in service will be: Tenayuca – Buenavista III.
- Line 4: The south route will not provide service from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm. In the case of the north route, there will be no service from Buenavista IV to Bellas Artes during these hours. There will be service from Teatro Blanquita to San Lázaro and from Teatro Blanquita to Pantitlán and Alameda Oriente.
- Line 7: there will be no service from Campo Marte to Hidalgo from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. The route Alameda Tacubaya – Partís will not be operating.
