These little dolls, a mixture of tenderness and mischief, are conquering everyone! We tell you where you can get Labubus in CDMX. And most importantly, 100% original and not imitations.
These little collectibles have been created by the Pop Mart brand and are one of the most iconic characters of “The Monsters” series, designed by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung.
The Labubu are inspired by European mythology, more specifically Nordic culture, and are characterized by being cute but with unique expressions that give each one a distinct personality.
It is easy to understand why they are conquering everyone. However, they went viral on Tik Tok thanks to Lisa from Blackpink, who shared several photos with a Labubu.
How can you tell if your Labubu is original?
Already have one? We’ll tell you how you can tell if you have a Labubu or a Chafubu. The first thing you should take into account is that an original Labubu is between $800 and $2,000 pesos. The price varies depending on the edition and where you buy it.
If you have an original Labubu, it should have a rotating head with smooth movement, perfectly delineated teeth and eyes, cheeks with blush blurred, a special mark on a paw that is only visible with black light, and its QR code that verifies authenticity on the official Pop Mart website.
If you had a knockoff or a Chafubu, you could tell because the materials are of lesser quality, with rough texture, misaligned finishes, poorly blurred blush cheeks, and a QR that does not direct to the official site.
Where to buy Labubus in CDMX?
Finding an original Labubu in CDMX is not that difficult, and we will tell you where you can buy a 100% original one:
1. Pop Mart official store
The official Pop Mart store on AliExpress is the safest place to buy a 100% original Labubu. Here you will find different models of special editions, limited editions and exclusives. We recommend you to check it constantly, as high demand may limit availability.

Did you know that in Metro Balderas there is a toy market with original Labubus? These are available through specialized sellers, but we recommend you to check the quality of the product before buying it.
3. Specialized resellers and other collectors

4. Labubus Festival in CDMX
On January 18 and 19 Folk Fans Merch will hold an edition of Labubus. Here you will find a bazaar with more than 60 brands of Labubus, Ternurines, Sonny Angels, Hironos and more. We recommend you go prepared to complete your collection.
