On Thursday, August 20, the world’s largest holographic mural was unveiled at the Auditorio Metro station on Line 7 of the subway system. It was created by artist Federico Kampf.
A press release explained that the image people see on this mural changes depending on the viewing angle. In total, three narratives make up this work, which measures 750 square meters.

This enormous piece depicts the symbolic encounter between Quetzalcóatl and Xochipilli with Apollo and Dionysus. Its main feature is that the image changes as you move around the artwork.
It’s worth noting that the mural was completed in just 34 days and consists of 200 panels. It holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest holographic mural on the planet.
