Don’t say no to your cravings—treat your taste buds! For two weeks, we’ll be sampling different dishes at the 2026 Xochimilco Barbecue Fair. There will be tacos, quesadillas, consommé, and much more. Mark your calendars.
Time is flying by, and before we know it, we’re practically in May. The best part is that the month will kick off with a food festival where you can enjoy a variety of barbecue dishes.
When will the 2026 Xochimilco Barbecue Fair take place?
You’ll have several days to check out this food festival. It will take place from May 1 to 15. It’s worth noting that we’ll have a long weekend in early May, since Friday, May 1, is a public holiday; you can take advantage of the long weekend to visit the event.
In addition to plenty of tacos, quesadillas, and even tortas, you’ll be able to enjoy artistic and cultural performances. There will even be theater shows and other activities. The full schedule will be announced later; stay tuned so you can plan your visit.
Through official accounts, the Xochimilco mayor’s office announced that there will also be a craft market as well as an educational farm. The fair will be located next to Prepa 1. All dishes will have different prices. Mark your calendars.
