It won’t be long now! On September 20 and 21 we will enjoy the Yucatan Festival at Los Pinos. This is an event where you will be able to try countless dishes from this state without leaving Mexico City. Check out all that will be there and start planning your visit.
For some time now, the Los Pinos Cultural Complex has been hosting different festivals where you can learn more about the culture and gastronomy of various states in the country. This time it is the turn of Yucatán, the state from which incredible dishes such as cochinita pibil and panuchos come from. Take note of the details because the event will only last two days.
When will the Yucatan Festival at Los Pinos be held?
This festival will be held on September 20 and 21 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will have the whole weekend to enjoy the gastronomy of Yucatán; however, there will not only be food.
You will also see traditional dance performances, listen to music, and more. You’ll even find exhibits and a craft show. Admission is free.
The festival will be held at Plaza Jacarandas, in the Complejo Cultural de Los Pinos (Molino del Rey 252, first section of Bosque de Chapultepec, alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo).
It is worth mentioning that, regardless of whether there is a festival or not, Los Pinos is always a good option to try traditional dishes. The next time you go, be sure to visit Cocinas de Humo, a space where every weekend they offer different dishes from all over the country.
Here is a sample of what you will see in this space.
