Zona Maco 2026 will take place from February 4 to 8 at the Banamex Center, consolidating itself as the event that inaugurates the cultural calendar of the year and the main axis of Art Week in Mexico City.
In this edition, the fair will bring together more than 200 galleries from 27 countries and 3 continents, reaffirming its role as the benchmark platform for exchange between the Latin American art market and the international scene.
Artists, gallery owners, collectors, curators, and institutions find here a key space for dialogue, the circulation of work, and reflection on the present state of art.
Zona Maco 2026 offers a panorama where different generations, artistic practices, and models of collecting coexist in a context where the art market is in constant transformation.
What’s new in 2026: New curators, Forma, and more

Zona Maco 2026 integrates sections such as Zona Maco Mexico Contemporary Art, Modern Art, Sur, and Ejes, as well as Zona Maco Design, Emerging Design, Antiques, and Photography, expanding its scope to include design, antiques, and contemporary photography.
Among the new features is Zona Maco Forma, a new initiative located between contemporary art and design, which responds to a moment in which the boundaries between disciplines are becoming increasingly permeable and dialogue with the interests of new generations of collectors.
In addition to the fair, Zona Maco 2026 is launching an Art Week that is broader than ever, with the participation of more than 65 museums, galleries, and independent spaces in Mexico City, including the University Museum of Contemporary Art, the Jumex Museum, and the Tamayo Museum, consolidating Mexico City as one of the main hubs for art and collecting in Latin America.
