Halloween Zoo is ready to celebrate its tenth anniversary and will do so with a major change: in 2026, it’s moving to the Feria de León grounds, within Distrito León MX. This new edition will feature approximately 300 monsters and, for the first time, six horror tours.
The event will take place from October 15 to 31 and promises to take advantage of its new venue to enhance the experience. The move also addresses animal welfare, as Halloween Zoo leaves its previous location behind to begin a new chapter in a different venue.
Although this event is outside Mexico City, it might interest you if you’re planning a getaway during the Halloween season.
Halloween Zoo 2026 will feature six horror tours
This time, there won’t be just one experience. Attendees will be able to explore six tours with different themes: Leyendas GTO, Apokálypsis, La Mazmorra, Clowns, Delyrio, and El Destazadero.
In addition, approximately 300 characters dressed as monsters will be part of the event. The combination of tours, characters, and attractions aims to transform the Feria de León grounds into a space dedicated to horror for several nights in October.
Another important detail is that admission won’t be limited to the haunted tours. The ticket will also include shows and unlimited access to amusement rides, so you’ll be able to combine the horror experiences with the fair’s attractions.
How much does Halloween Zoo cost at the Feria de León?
Admission will cost $450 per person. This price includes entry to the event, the six haunted tours, the shows, and unlimited rides.
