If you’re the type who starts thinking about Halloween as soon as fall arrives, mark this plan on your calendar for a getaway from Mexico City. Pumpkin Zone returns in 2026 with a new experience that will combine scares, pumpkins, movies, a fair, and plenty of photo opportunities.
This themed event will take place from October 29 to November 2 at the Down Town shopping center, located in Lomas de Angelópolis, Puebla. It’s five days to fully immerse yourself in the Halloween and Day of the Dead atmosphere.
And take note—the hours will be quite extensive: you can visit from 11:30 a.m. until midnight.
What will Pumpkin Zone 2026 have to offer?
This year’s event promises more than just a setting filled with pumpkins. Among the announced activities is a spooky maze, perfect for those looking to add a good dose of terror to their visit.
There will also be a carnival, shows, movie nights, and carving—that is, activities for carving and decorating pumpkins. Costume contests will be added to the mix, so maybe it’s time to start preparing your Halloween look.
If you love taking photos, you’ll also find various spots designed to capture the fall atmosphere. The event will also feature a food court where you can take a break between activities.
A Halloween getaway from Mexico City
Although Pumpkin Zone is located in Puebla, it could be a great option for those looking to make the most of the long weekend or plan a getaway during the Halloween and Day of the Dead celebrations.
The organizers have revealed that this year’s event will feature a new storyline and various surprises, though they haven’t yet disclosed all the details of the experience.
