Mexico City has taught us that there is a wealth of culture in little-explored corners; a great way to discover them is through the Feria de los Barrios, and the eighth edition of this event will take place in the Historic Center in October 2026.
On this occasion, the guest of honor will be none other than Santa María Aztahuacan, an indigenous community from the Iztapalapa borough that will give us a taste of its identity and traditions.
All of this will take place in the beautiful Plaza Santo Domingo, a little corner brimming with history.
What can you do there? A little bit of everything! You’ll get an up-close look at the traditional crafts that bring our city to life and, of course, indulge in the cuisine we love so much.
Mark your calendars: it will take place from October 14 to 18, during convenient hours from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. And best of all, admission is free so no one has to stay home!
So now you know—spread the word about the Feria de los Barrios in October 2026 and plan your itinerary to learn a little more about this region.
