If you were planning to attend the Live at Munet electronic music festival, it’s time to rein in your enthusiasm and carefully check where you’re buying your tickets. Recently, authorities have issued an important warning to all fans looking to secure their spot at this event scheduled for October 29, 30, and 31.
The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) issued a warning on September 22, 2026, regarding the sale of counterfeit tickets. It has been detected that a deceptive link is circulating via email under the pretext of confirming the presale. Therefore, the agency’s message is clear: avoid at all costs purchasing tickets through money transfers to private individuals and use only official channels.
To make matters worse, the status of the event’s permits remains uncertain. The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), which oversees the facilities at the National Museum of Energy and Technology (Munet), reported that the promoters have not yet obtained the necessary authorizations from Mexico City’s Secretariats of Civil Protection and the Environment. Furthermore, the administration of the venue, located in the Second Section of Chapultepec Forest, has stated that there is no authorization to hold the show and that tickets cannot be sold until contractual obligations are met.
It’s worth noting that the lineup for the Live at Munet festival includes artists such as Deorro, Sean Paul, and Calvin Harris, and promises more celebrities to be announced. It also states that the event will feature phone booths, art, and even food. At this time, authorities have not confirmed whether the event will take place.
Be very careful before making any plans!
