El Buen Fin 2026 is fast approaching, and in addition to in-store sales, there’s a way to get an extra bonus on certain purchases. However, there’s one detail you might overlook: you must activate the promotion before paying.
This is a Banamex offer that lets you earn bonuses on eligible purchases made with interest-free installments. Plus, during certain hours, some merchants will offer an additional percentage.
The campaign will run from November 13 to 17, 2026, but registration to access this benefit is already open.
How to get the extra bonus for Buen Fin 2026?
Banamex offers a base bonus of 10% on eligible purchases with 12 or more interest-free months when you use your credit cards.
This percentage can increase to 15%, 20%, or 30%, depending on whether the customer has one, two, or three participating products: payroll, mortgage, and Afore Banamex.
To access the promotion, you must register for free between November 3 and 17, either through the bank’s app or its official website, before making your purchases.
You must also accumulate at least $10,000 in eligible purchases with interest-free installments. Transactions made before registration do not qualify for this bonus.
The time window that could give you up to an additional 10%
Here’s another interesting detail: during the so-called “Banamex Hours,” some select businesses will offer an additional 5% or 10% bonus.
The scheduled times are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Mexico City time.
Participating merchants will be announced three hours before each special period. Therefore, not all purchases made during those times will automatically receive the benefit.
In addition, purchases must meet the terms for interest-free installments and be made directly with the selected merchants, without payment intermediaries such as PayPal.
The total bonus is capped at $10,000 per customer and is credited to your card balance later, not as an immediate discount at the register.
