Throughout March, you can use the SAT’s 2025 annual tax return simulator, which will help you prepare for filing your return in April. Take note.
The Tax Administration Service (SAT) has launched an annual tax return simulator, which allows you to see in advance the information that is preloaded on your return.
According to a statement from the SAT, you will be able to see information such as income fields, authorized and personal deductions, as well as discounts and bonuses.
The idea is that you can review the information on your return in advance; this way, you can make calculations, verify that your data is correct, and detect errors and inconsistencies.
How do I access the 2025 annual tax return simulator?
To access this simulator, simply go to the SAT website and select the “Go to simulator” option. Then log in with your RFC and password or with your e-signature.
What you will see is a simulation of your annual tax return (the one you will file in April). To move forward in the windows, you will have to review and fill in all the fields on the form. We recommend that you take your time so that you have a chance to verify that all the information is correct. You will even be able to see if you have a credit balance this year.
Among some of the new features you will find this year are suggested pre-filled detailed information on other exempt income and CFDI that are not classified due to inconsistencies.
Remember that individuals must file their annual tax return during April 2026. You will have a whole month to do so. Don’t let yourself be rushed!
