Mexico City is getting closer and closer to hosting the 2026 World Cup. This Wednesday, November 12, some of the activities that will take place as part of the tournament were announced, including a World Cup parade in CDMX. The date has already been set!
In a press conference, Mexico City authorities explained that this World Cup parade will seek to showcase Mexico’s cultural richness. In addition, countries that will participate in the World Cup will be invited to join the parade.
When will the 2026 World Cup parade be held in CDMX?
It was announced that this World Cup parade will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026 on Paseo de la Reforma. The complete route, as well as the schedules and participants, will be announced later. Save the date.
In addition to the parade, the date of other activities to be held in CDMX related to the World Cup was announced. On March 1st we will have the world’s largest soccer class, which will seek to break a Guinness World Record.
On May 31, the world’s largest wave will be organized. Additionally, during the 2026 World Cup, there will be soccer festivals throughout the CDMX, as well as other activities.
