This is the poster for the 2026 World Cup in CDMX
The poster was created in collaboration with artist Marcio “Cuemanche”. In it we can see many places and aspects that characterize Mexico City and its surroundings; for example, at the top we see Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl (landscapes that can be seen from the capital).
We can also see a taco al pastor spinning top, a house, the Metro, Metrobus and even a couple of garlic beans. Of course we could not miss the trajineras and the organ grinder. Regarding the places, we can see:
- Angel of Independence
- Chapultepec Castle
- UNAM Central Library
- Palace of Fine Arts
As part of the 2026 World Cup, 16 posters were presented, which will go on sale on April 19, 2025. The cost has not yet been announced.
According to the calendar published by FIFA, there will be five matches at the Azteca Stadium on June 11, 17, 24 and 30, as well as on July 5, when there will be a game in the round of 16.
As for Guadalajara, the matches will take place on June 11, 18, 23 and 26, while in Monterrey they will be played on June 14, 20, 24 and 29.
