The 2026 Zombie Walk in Mexico City already has a date, and this year it will take place on a Sunday. It will feature monster-themed contests and even a horror fashion show. You’ll see some incredible costumes.
Zombie Walk MX is more than ready for its 2026 edition. This year, it will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, October 18, as announced on its official social media accounts. As in previous years, there will be various activities as part of the event.
Although participation is free, this is a charity event, so attendees are invited to donate one kilo of rice, beans, or non-perishable food, which will be donated to the organization Alimento Para Todos México.
What time will the 2026 Zombie Walk take place in Mexico City?
The gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m.; the meeting spot is on Avenida de la República (just a few steps from the Monument to the Revolution). Starting at that time, you’ll find various activities, including a “monstrous aura” battle.
The march will begin at 4:00 p.m. It’s important to arrive on time, as they’ll leave right on schedule. The route will end at the Zócalo in Mexico City. Usually, the Zombie Walk and the Monumental Alebrijes Parade take place on the same day, but that won’t be the case in 2026.
The alebrijes will parade on Saturday, October 17, while you’ll see the zombies on Sunday, October 18. Plan your schedule carefully so you don’t miss any of these events.
