The 2026 Feria de las Calacas already has confirmed dates and activities! The National Center for the Arts (Cenart) is preparing to celebrate the Day of the Dead with two days of workshops, concerts, theater, and cultural activities for the whole family. Best of all, admission will be completely free.
The 26th edition of this event, organized by Alas y Raíces, will take place on October 31 and November 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition to artistic activities, you’ll find handicrafts, cuisine, and creative offerings inspired by Mexican traditions.
This year, the celebration will also take place at the Community Culture Pavilion in Chapultepec Forest, so there will be a variety of ways to enjoy the season.
What activities will there be at the 2026 Feria de las Calacas?
There will be something for all ages! The program includes workshops, storytelling, theater performances, music, and activities designed especially for children and teens.
The fair aims to introduce children to the traditions of the Day of the Dead through art, imagination, and play. That’s why you’ll also find activities for babies and family-friendly events.
One of the musical highlights will be a performance by Sonido Gallo Negro, a band that will get the crowd dancing with its mix of tropical and psychedelic sounds.
The concert will take place on Sunday, November 1, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., in the green spaces at Cenart. It will serve as the closing event for this year’s fair.

When and where will the Feria de las Calacas take place at Cenart?
The celebration will take place in various spaces at the National Center for the Arts, located in Coyoacán. Over the course of two days, the venue will host cultural events that blend memory, tradition, and creativity.
In addition, the Chapultepec venue will feature its own program on Saturday, October 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., also with free admission.
