If you’re a chocolate lover, mark these dates on your calendar because the 16th Cacao Para Todos Festival will return to the Anahuacalli Museum with four days dedicated to one of the most important ingredients in Mexican cuisine. From October 29 to November 1, 2026, this event will bring together producers, artisans, and experts to celebrate the cultural richness surrounding cacao.
In addition to the traditional artisanal chocolate fair and sale, the festival will offer a program designed for the whole family, featuring traditional beverages, culinary offerings, lectures, workshops, live music, and a craft market. All of this will take place at one of Coyoacán’s most iconic cultural venues.
A festival to discover the history and culture of cacao
Over the course of 16 editions, the Cacao Para Todos Festival has found in cacao a way to bring together people, regions, trades, memories, and knowledge. More than just afood fair, it seeks to connect the public with the history, cultural value, and traditions surrounding this ingredient—a staple of Mexican cuisine since pre-Hispanic times.
During your visit, you can explore the expo and market to learn about the work of producers and artisan chocolatiers, as well as participate in activities that explore cacao from different perspectives, including gastronomy, culture, and art.
