Due to the high rates of violence against women and on the occasion of International Women’s Day, this Sunday hundreds of women will march to demand justice, gender equality, and an end to harassment, among many other demands. Various groups are joining the 8M 2026 march in Mexico City; here are the meeting points and times that may be of interest to you if you plan to join the movement.
It should be noted that this event is organized by feminist groups from the capital, as well as from different states in Mexico. That is why there is no general schedule, as each contingent has made its own specific arrangements; the march is expected to begin around noon, from Paseo de la Reforma to the capital’s Zócalo.

Pan y Rosas Mexico

National Front Against Vicarious Violence

- 📢 Show up wearing an orange T-shirt from the collective or a plain orange T-shirt, as well as an orange and/or purple scarf. You can also bring a sign with the Celtic symbol of motherhood.
Before joining the 8M 2026 march in Mexico City, follow these recommendations:
- Keep your cell phone battery at 100% and, if possible, bring a portable battery.
- Bring water and stay hydrated throughout the march.
- Wear a cap or hat, as well as sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
- Write your name on your forearm with a permanent marker.
- Follow the instructions of your contingent at all times.
