The Day of the Dead is also celebrated with acrobatics, dance, and theater! If you’re looking for free things to do around this time of year, the Day of the Dead at FARO Cosmos will feature a special celebration with three days of artistic activities, workshops, and performances to honor those who are no longer with us.
This is Ánimas del Cosmos 2026, a festival that will take place October 29–31 at this historic cultural venue. Admission will be completely free, and there will be performances that combine Mexican traditions with various performing arts disciplines.
Among the announced activities are the unveiling of a visual art offering, a marathon of workshops, and dance and theater performances.
There will be a free aerial circus performance at FARO Cosmos
One of the festival’s most striking moments will be *Muerte y circo: un viaje al más allá* (Death and the Circus: A Journey to the Afterlife), a variety show by Colectivo Nébula that combines circus arts, aerial dance, and music.
The event stems from a curious question: What if those who have gone before us still had one last message for us?
Through various artistic expressions, the show will explore the relationship between life and death from a performing arts perspective.
The performance will take place on Friday, October 30, at 7:00 p.m., at the Caja Negra at FARO Cosmos, and you can enjoy it without paying an admission fee.
In addition, the festival will feature workshops and performances by dance and theater groups. The specific schedules for these activities are still to be confirmed.
