During February we will have a couple of incredible astronomical events; the best thing is that there will be astronomical observations at the Torre Latino. During the event you will be accompanied by experts in the field and you will be able to use telescopes for free.
February is here and not only brings incredible plans in CDMX, but also in the sky. During this month we will see the conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter and even a planetary alignment. Take note so you don’t miss them.
When will the astronomical observations take place at the Torre Latino?
The event will count with the participation of the Astronomical Society of ESIA Ticomán, who will offer talks with which you will learn more about space. There are two dates available during February:
- Monday, February 10: the conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter will be observed.
- Thursday, February 20: symbolic alignment of the planets.
The event will be from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Admission is $220. Just make sure you go at that time so you don’t miss the astronomical society’s talks. Not only will you see the planets and stars, but you will also learn more about these stars.
The use of the telescopes will be free of charge. Just keep in mind that, as in this event the sky is the protagonist, it is subject to weather conditions.
And while we are talking about astronomical events, don’t forget that on March 13, 2025 we will see a total lunar eclipse. During this phenomenon we will see how our natural satellite adopts a red color.
