Pieces by Händel and Bach will be performed by the Orquesta de Cámara de Bellas Artes at the Bosque de Chapultepec. This presentation is part of the program “Encounters with the Baroque”. If you enjoy classical music, stay to know the details.
This Saturday, November 9 a tribute to these baroque composers will take place. The show will be presented at Pabellón del Jardín Escénico (Paseo de la Reforma s/n corner with Chivatito).
The program includes Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 5 in D major and Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 12 in B minor by Georg F. Händel. You will also enjoyOrchestral Suite No. 3 in D major and Toccata and Fugue (arrangement by Greg Schwaegler), pieces by Bach.
The appointment is at 12:00 noon and the best of all is that access is free of charge.
In addition to Chapultepec, there will be Bach and Handel concerts in Bellas Artes.

If you don’t have a chance to attend the concert at the Jardín Escénico, you’ll be delighted to know that on Thursday, November 6, this show will be presented at the Manuel M. Ponce Hall of the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
General admission is $75, with a 50% discount for seniors with INAPAM, students and teachers. Please note that the discount only applies at the venue’s box office. The online price is $82.50.
