It’s time to dance to the rhythm of salsa and cumbia! Call your partner, because at the Palacio Postal there will be a free sonidero dance. This activity will celebrate the Museum Night of July 2025.
It will be the Musas Sonideras collective who will put all the atmosphere on the stage. Let’s remember that this sound is integrated by women specialists in dance and good music. The project aims to recognize women in Mexico’s sonidera culture.
And it is not the first time that this group organizes a memorable party. They have also played in massive events, such as the Baile de Primavera in the capital’s Zócalo.
But this Wednesday, July 30, the Palacio Postal will be filled with cumbia and salsa. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., although we recommend you arrive early to ensure your admission.
More activities at the Palacio Postal in the Historic Center
In addition to the sonidero dance, there will be a lot of activities at the Palacio Postal throughout July. For example, the musical presentation of the Children’s Band of Ecatepec will take place on July 12, at 12:00 noon.
There is also a philately exhibition with a pet theme. This one is called Pets, the best company, and exhibits postage stamps of puppies. It will be open until July 28 and you can see it from 10:00 to 17:00 hours.
