Stop everything because this weekend there will be a festival that will make us travel without a suitcase! It’s Baja California en Los Pinos, an event that will give you a taste of the culture of this state; from its gastronomy to its music.
The program includes activities of different artistic expressions. There will be presentations of contemporary dance, rock-pop concert, oral narration, dramatized reading and calabaceado dance, a traditional dance of Baja California.
This festival is perfect to go with children, as there are activities for infants, such as a mask workshop.
There will also be a bazaar where craftsmen and craftswomen of the state will offer for sale artistic pieces, textiles, wood and more. Different native communities such as Pai Pai, Kumiai, Cucapah and Cochimi, to mention a few, will gather here.

Food will not be missing in this edition. Get ready to explore the flavors of Baja California cuisine; traditional cooks will light up the Cocinas de Humo with the best preparations.
The menu has not yet been confirmed. However, we can tell you that the food will represent the flavors of the sea and the desert. Emblematic dishes from the Kiumai and Kiliwa communities will also be prepared.
