Presented by the Baroque Orchestra of the National Conservatory of Music, the event will take place this Wednesday, May 20, at 12:00 p.m. The venue is the Patio del Alcázar, one of the areas most beloved by visitors.
The program is titled “Three Ways of Writing for String Orchestra,” which presents different approaches to rhythm, repetitions, and soloists; Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings in G minor, RV 157, Georg Philipp Telemann’s Viola Concerto in G major, TWV 51:G9, and Gustav Holst’s St. Paul’s Suite, Op. 29 No. 2 are the works included in the program.
Violins, violas, cellos, and double basses will come together in a performance included with the admission ticket to the venue. Remember that tickets cost $105 for Mexican nationals and $210 for foreigners.
