Romantic songs have never gone out of style; proof of this is this bolero concert that will fill Chapultepec Castle with nostalgia throughout May. You’ll once again enjoy live performances of songs like “Bésame mucho,” “Sabor a mí,” and “Adoro.”
Tap into your most tender side to sing along to the boleros that your grandparents fell in love to (and that you secretly love) during a vocal and piano concert. The “Sabor a bolero” show will take place next Saturday, May 23, at 2:00 p.m., so you still have a few days to make plans.
The performance will feature six artists, including mezzo-soprano Linda Saldaña, bass singer Sergio Meneses, and pianist Raquel Waller.
Of course, the musical program will be the highlight of the event, featuring 19 songs by artists such as Agustín Lara, Armando Manzanero, and Consuelo Velázquez: “Amor de mis amores,” “El andariego,” “Solamente una vez,” and “Alma con alma ” are just a few of the songs in the repertoire.
At this time, it has not been clarified whether this event has an additional cost beyond the admission ticket, although access generally already includes this type of concert. In any case, we recommend keeping this in mind.
Remember that admission to the Castle costs $105 for Chileans and $210 for foreign visitors.
Whether you’re a romantic at heart or just want to experience a musical moment at Chapultepec Castle, mark the bolero concert on your calendar and bring tissues to cry over love (or heartbreak).
