If visiting Chapultepec Castle is already an experience fit for royalty, now imagine being able to enjoy a latte with a slice of pan de dulce at its new café. It’s called La Emperatriz and is sure to be the perfect addition to your next art tour.
This little café is located on one of the park’s terraces; here, you’ll not only enjoy the outdoors but also take in a splendid view of Chapultepec Forest and Mexico City. Get ready to see Chapultepec Lake and the Aztlán Ferris wheel from above.

With salads, sandwiches, fruit, desserts, and drinks, you can relax and enjoy one of the greenest landscapes you’ll find in the city. There are some tables with umbrellas on the terrace and also in a covered lounge. The average bill is $250 per person.
Note: Access is included with your museum ticket, which costs $105 for Mexican nationals and $210 for foreigners. However, admission is free for everyone on Sundays.
La Emperatriz is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We recommend arriving with patience, as you may encounter many other guests who also want to discover this new spot.

If you want to enjoy coffee just like Carlota herself, head to the new café at Chapultepec Castle.
