One of the events not to be missed at the end of the year is the International Book Fair in the Zócalo. This is an event where you will not only find all kinds of books, but also cultural activities and even musical presentations.

When will be the Zócalo International Book Fair 2025?

According to a call published by the Ministry of Culture on its official website, the XXV edition of the Zócalo Book Fair will be held from Saturday, October 11 to Sunday, October 19.
Access is free and books are sold at different prices. Every year all kinds of books are sold: novels, children’s books, fiction and much more. To give you an idea, last year 300 publishers participated, so there will be plenty to choose from.
In addition, in each edition there are workshops, editorial presentations and all kinds of activities. More details about this event will be announced at a later date; in the meantime, save the date.
What other events will there be at the end of the year in CDMX?
Believe it or not, there are already several events confirmed for the end of the year. If you are looking for Day of the Dead stuff, let us tell you that the Mega Catrinas Procession will be on Sunday October 26, while the monumental ofrenda in the Zócalo will be from October 25 to November 2.
And that’s not all! The parade of monumental alebrijes will take place on October 18 at 12:00 noon; while the Night of the Stars will be on November 29, 2025.
