MAP’s Monumental Alebrijes Parade will fill the CDMX with colors. Artists from Mexico created amazing characters to show them in the busiest areas of the city. We advance you that they are pieces that you will want to capture in a photo.
The parade will begin at 🕛 12:00 (October 19) at 📍 Zócalo and will end at the Angel of Independence. The route includes 5 de Mayo, Juárez and Paseo de la Reforma avenues.
In this show you will be able to see floats that will present monumental pieces, up to 2.60 meters high! It is one of the most important events in Mexico City, as it gathers thousands of people eager to see the new creations.
This year is the 16th edition and, although no details have yet been given about what we will see, we know that there are more than 200 new pieces. It should be noted that there are alebrijes from Guerrero, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Morelos, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala and the CDMX.
Don’t worry if you can’t attend the parade, you will be able to see the alebrijes on Paseo de la Reforma. You will appreciate every detail of the pieces and you can even take pictures with them. This exhibition will be available from 📅 20:00 hours from October 19 until November 3, 2024.
