Run, Pocoyo, it’s a race…. 🎶. This weekend we will have the first Carrera de Botargas de Terror in the Historic Center. It will happen right in front of Bellas Artes and will bring many surprises, especially for children.
This activity is part of the Day of the Dead events in Mexico City. During the event you will see the botargas of the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC), which will be characterized with the theme of the season.
When will be the Botargas del Terror Race in CDMX?
This fun race will take place on Saturday, October 25 at 5:00 pm. According to a press release from the SSC, the starting point will be at Eje Central and Juarez Avenue. The finish line will be on Iturbide Street.
This race will be right in front of the Alameda Central and Bellas Artes. Attendees can go in costume. In fact, they will be able to take pictures with the botargas.
In addition, there will be surprises and candy for the children. Come to the event this weekend.
It is worth mentioning that this Saturday there will be many Day of the Dead activities. For example, there will be the Night Walk, the inauguration of the monumental ofrenda in the Zócalo and more. Be sure to take a walk on Paseo de la Reforma, where there are illuminated figures and even Mexicráneos.
