If Kpop is your thing these desserts are sure to delight you. Ternufood, the venture where Ternutamales were created, is offering a BT21-inspired popsicle, as well as a steamed bun. You can only get them on weekends.
BT21 are animated characters, which represent the members of BTS, a Kpop band that has achieved great popularity around the world. Surely you have heard some of the hits such as “Dynamite”, “Take two”, “Boy with luv”, among many others.
Where can I get the BT21-inspired ice pop?

The first thing you need to know is that the popsicle is inspired by Mang, a character that represents J-Hope, from BTS. In the case of the steamed bread, it is inspired by Cooky, who represents Jungkook.
It is worth mentioning that these are not the only popsicles they have at Ternufood. There are also popsicles shaped like Zote Soap, Labubus, Ternurines, Lele dolls and more.
They even have a one-liter ice pop in the shape of a capybara ($100). Popsicles start at $35 and come in a variety of flavors. Ternufood is set up at the tianguis in the Jardín Ramón López Velarde market on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
They are open for several hours each day but we recommend you go super early because they have limited pieces and they run out very quickly. If you go by public transportation you can go by Metro; they are located in front of the Centro Medico station.
