October’s Night of Museums will celebrate Day of the Dead in a big way. Among the venues that join the program is the Palacio Postal with a catwalk of catrinas.
The big presentation will be next Wednesday, October 29, at 6:00 pm.
The catwalk will be in the hands of Catrinas Contemporáneas, a project made up of designers, makeup artists, models, photographers and other artists specialized in creating catrinas.
Get ready to see costumes, make-up and elements that represent the traditions of this holiday.
In general, Postal Palace events are free admission; however, access to this event will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the catwalk, there is an exhibition on catrinas at the Palacio Postal.

Take advantage of your visit and take a tour of the exhibition Mexico: Heritage, Tradition and Pride. It is a photographic exhibition in which different artists participated.
Get ready to contemplate pieces that not only reflect the culture around the catrines and catrinas; they also show the work behind each makeup and costume of those who create and represent them.
This exhibition will be available until November 2.
Please note that the regular hours to enter the Postal Palace Museum are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00. Admission is free.
The Postal Palace is located at Tacuba 1, Centro Histórico. The closest Metro station is Bellas Artes.
