Get ready to experience a magical evening in one of the most important venues in the CDMX. Chapultepec Castle is ready to close its doors until late for the Night of Museums in July. Here is the schedule.
As you surely know, this cultural tour takes place on the last Wednesday of every month and this July 30 will be no exception. A lot of museums will be joining in with special activities; the Franz Mayer Museum Museum, the Casa del Risco and the Palacio de Iturbide are just some of them.
Chapultepec Castle joins in with the opera concert Carlota. The show will be presented by the National Mexican Opera Company, Canto del Alma.
It will begin at 7:00 p.m. and seating is limited to 250 people. The Patio de Eventos of the castle will be the perfect setting to enjoy this performance.
Other activities for the Night of Museums in July at Chapultepec Castle

In addition to the concert, you can take a guided tour of the exterior spaces. There will be tours at 5:00 pm and 5:15 pm. The meeting point is at the museum’s esplanade, where groups of 40 people will be formed.
There will also be a historical talk on the restoration of the portrait of Florentino Mercado, Mexican jurist of the 19th century. This activity will take place in the auditorium of the precinct, at 18:00 hours. Please note that the capacity is for 100 people.
Remember that access to the museum begins at 5:00 p.m. and it is not necessary to register your attendance. That is why we recommend you to anticipate your arrival.
The Chapultepec Castle is located in the Chapultepec Forest, I Section. The Chapultepec Metro station is the closest one.
