Museum Night July 2025 is about to begin! Here we leave you a list with the best activities of this edition that takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. The ideal plan for those who work, but want a good dose of art before the end of the day.
1. Tequila and Mezcal Museum

This venue will be celebrating National Tequila Day (commemorated last July 24) with a guided tour, a bottle painting workshop and tequila cocktail preparation. Not to be missed!

2. Franz Mayer Museum
This museum is celebrating its 39th anniversary. The celebration will take place during the Museum Night in July; there will be guided tours, DJ music and an activity called Art or Cake? You’ll also be able to check out the World Press Photo exhibit 2025.

3. Iturbide Palace

Do you love jazz? Then go to Palacio de Iturbide, as there will be a musical presentation led by the Musax quartet. The show will be surrounded by the works of Miguel Covarrubias, which make up the exhibition Una mirada sin fronteras. Space is limited to 100 people.

4. Chocolate Museum
At MUCHO there will be a tequila and chocolate pairing tasting, which costs $250 per person. There will also be a chocolate workshop on metate for $200, and a musical presentation of son jarocho. To reserve your place, you can email educacion@mucho.org.mx.

5. University of the Cloister of Sor Juana
Don’t hesitate to take a tour of the Cloister. In addition to visiting the new Sor Juana Museum, you will visit three exhibitions and enjoy a piano concert in the Divino Narciso Auditorium. Space is limited to 180 people.

6. The House of the Poet Ramón López Velarde
Do you dare to take a dark tour of the famous poet’s house? On the Night of Museums in July you can do it, with the aim of delving into the superstitions that surrounded his life. Space is limited to 13 people and you can reserve your place at the numbers: 55 5533 5456 and 55 52 9336.

7. Casa del Risco Museum

8. FARO Aragón

9. Colegio Nacional

Enjoy a classical concert with pieces by Mozart and Beethoven. This memorable evening will take place in one of the most beautiful buildings of the Historic Center: the Colegio Nacional. Please note that the capacity is for 250 people.

10. Chapultepec Castle
Nothing like an artistic evening at this beautiful site. Here there will be an opera show called Carlota, which will take place in the Patio de Eventos. There will also be guided tours of the exteriors, plus a talk about General Florentino Mercado.

11. National Museum of Art
Do you already know the exhibition Under the Sign of Saturn? The Night of Museums is your perfect opportunity to do so, in addition to knowing the permanent exhibitions on Mexican art in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In addition, there will be a workshop called Munal in miniature.
